Are you spiritually connected to your job?

We like to think there is separation between the body, the mind, and the spirit, but there isn’t such a separation really. And, we also like to think there is a separation between our work, our home, family, friends, our community, money, and the environment, but again, there isn’t.

Everything is intertwined. Everything affects everything, and everything is connected.

True spirituality is a life where the sacred is expressed through all aspects of your life, including your job.

So many people are dissatisfied doing what they do, because their spiritual and professional lives are kept separate.

What are the things you can do that permit you to have a larger experience doing what you do? Larger in the sense that it connects you to something bigger than you, something you believe in, something you have faith in. Doing so allows you to experience so much more fulfillment and meaningfulness through your job.

Think about this.

Do you treat your job as an an opportunity to grow and to contribute to society in a meaningful way.

Do you care for your co-workers, have compassion for your organizations customers and enjoy the support of others ?

Do you believe in integrity?

Do you rejoice being true to yourself and to others at your job?

There are no right answers. There are just questions, to help you open up your mind to help grow your spirit.

I certainly dont intend for one to make big changes in ones life like quitting jobs, changing career paths and becoming a hippie! That actually is a short cut to nothing path. But I do intend that we each identify what part of us needs more alignment with our core values , our core beliefs, and use that to put ourselves on a path which helps bridge that gap while we work our careers.

Hello Gemini Season. Time to get the flirt on

Gemini season is when social calendars heat up (and maybe romances, too.)   One of my oldest crushes and super close friend is a crazy Gemini. Every time her birthday is near, she starts going nuts and starts hunting out adventure of all kinds... and as the birthday passes she starts getting uber serious about making the rest of the year count in ways most cant imagine. One year she left her job as a physiotherapist and became an RJ. Another year, she reached out to some great producers and started a singing career which has taken off beautifully. Gemini season brings a wave of vibrant energy and endless possibilities! Curiosity and versatility are supported as the sun steps into the social air sign. This season is an invitation to embrace your inner social butterfly, dive into fascinating conversations, and explore your various interests.   It’s also a great season to revisit our goals and ambitions for the year, tackle creative projects, and dream big dreams.    ...

Recipe for a wonderful week

What does a perfect week require: Just some self awareness, some self care, a lotta smiles and satisfaction... Here is something which I built out from my astrological recommendations to start creating perfect weeks for myself :) 1. Physical movement releases tension. So don't sit for too long. Dance, run, do yoga, play an active sport, cycle or just walk a lot. 2. Get creative, use your imagination. Don't ignore sudden inspired ideas. 3. Spend time in your own company. Learn something new. Take time to Reflect. Dont ignore your intuitive urges. 4. Reach out and build deeper connections with loved ones. Be vulnerable. 5. Embrace what motivates you and what makes you optimistic. Put on your favorite music and get work done. Don't neglect your to-do list. 6. Seek new spiritual experiences. Don't overlook or supress emotions. 7. Organize and prep for the next week. Dont forget to create and practice a self care routine. Finally don't rush through everything everyday, i...
